Ruined building on the Rua Direita (main street), though the aspect of a provincial Portuguese townhouse can still be discerned (two floors, bays with round and segmental arches) within vernacular and 18th-19th century parameters. The main façade is symmetrical and exhibits a series of six bays with curved lintel on each of the two floors and a central veranda on the upper one; the whole is topped by a smooth platband.
