Carlota Fort

Military Architecture
The small Carlota Fort is situated at the settlement’s south end on high ground overlooking the sea. The platform’s retention wall is nowadays visible along with a few cannon. The hip-roofed building forms a simple volume with a rectangular base that advances perpendicularly to the exterior of the platform and may be a vestige of the old fortified installations. It is currently used as the police station and prison.
