Bridge over the River Geba
Bafatá, Guinea-Bissau | Gulf of Guinea | São Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea-Bissau
Equipment and Infrastructures
Of monumental size in its context, it is an impressive public work erected before 1966. With typological structure similar to that of the Duarte Pacheco viaduct in Lisbon and the bridge over the River Tua, in Portugal of the 1940s, although these have only one arch, it has a reinforced concrete structure with various arches supported on plain pillars, which in turn sustain the table.
