Equipment and Infrastructures
The former Museum and Centre for Studies of Portuguese Guinea is a building expressing neo-traditional lines. It is a ground floor corner building, with a symmetrical design, with a central foyer, flanked by two bodies that have verandas-galleries. It is covered with a cylindrical tiled turret and eaves. It stands on the main square since 1945, beside the former Palace of the Government. Attributed by Ana Vaz Milheiro, as a possibility, to João Simões.
