Built in 1948 it was in fact a readaptation of the existing construction along art deco lines, which was “traditionalized” with a project by João Aguiar in 1945. It is today very dilapidated. Its architecture shows the neo-traditional style of the Estado Novo, with an appearance that evokes a “modernized” 18th century manor house.
