Banco Nacional Ultramarino/Hotel de Turismo
Bolama, with the Archipelago of the Bijagós, Guinea-Bissau | Gulf of Guinea | São Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea-Bissau
Equipment and Infrastructures
This building has the style of masonry characteristic of the transition from the 19th to the 20th century, with bays with arches arranged in rows in two storeys and a central pediment topped by an abundant mural decoration. This façade, emphasised in the raised silhouette marked by pinnacles, includes three central openings that open on to a jutting, curved balcony that clearly signals the noble floor. After the closing of the bank it was transformed into a hotel.
