Religious Architecture

The Portuguese only built civil and religious buildings in Casamansa area, without assuring a military power. The first Portuguese chapel, at the corner of the Amerger House, near the port is still standing. It is a one floor modest building tile roofed, probably reconstructed according to the original or modified by several restauration works.
