This building displays a concrete grid structure on its façade with a free-standing tower and a polychrome panel by João Mário Rascão (with coloured mortars and pigments). It is a work by the architect Francisco Castro Rodrigues which was concluded in 1971. It was partially destroyed during the civil war.
