Military Architecture

This fort is located in the interior of Gabela on the road to Huambo. It is an old fort built over a massive granite formation, overlooking the small settlement of the same name. In the 1950s Fernando Batalha testimonies the survival of two turrets, what has been recently confirmed by some visitors.
