On the southern corner of Square José Samuel next to the Cooperative Block this building is part of the whole design of the square. It is a good example of articulation between urban design and modern architecture where the same author could be responsible for the overall plan as well as for other buildings, thus giving it meaning and form. This work was also designed by Castro Rodrigues.
