Equipment and Infrastructures

Like the similar building in Kuito, it corresponds to a public building typology in traditional Portuguese style that was significantly widespread in the colony at the time. The one in Malanje is however more elaborate, having two floors with running verandas along the façade on both levels, with the usual central pediment with its overhanging eave. It is topped with a hipped roof and has recently been restored.
