This building presents a modern design; it lies stylistically between the Estado Novo traditionalist style with its appeal to static monumentalism, and that of the 1950s-1960s which seeks a more dynamic geometry. On two floors it has a portico with a sequence of pillars and horizontal mouldings of reinforced concrete. It has a hipped roof.
