Military Architecture

In the southern area of the “stone city”, between the quarters of Shangani and Vuga, on the corner of the intersection of Kanuda and Vuga Streets, stands a beautiful, well preserved stone arch, which is referred to as the “Portuguese arch” and is said to display typical Portuguese decorative elements, but it is undated. We do not know if it was originally Portuguese or the result of its influence.
